I wanted to explore the yearly cyclicality in illustrations for you to feel a sense of connection with the timeless experience of the natural cycle. I wanted to capture the tiny but wholesome excitement of these little events we like to celebrate, for them to not go by unnoticed as we rush through our endless to-do lists…I hoped to help you connect with the natural world and planetary movements, as well as notice the similarities between astronomy, astrology, folklore and world religions & their celebrations. The stories we tell ourselves about the seasonal passage of time are universal indeed and I find them fascinating.
